We'llagain have those beutiful Jeep Collins jewelry trophies. The Black Gold Pod is cooking fish for us again, and that makes it worth the driveto the hill country. Hope you can join us this week-end in Paradise for the annual McChili Mc-Hog-In. We have a jam packed day planned starting at 10:00 with the Omelet and Bloody Mary turn-in. Then it’s time to get those beans ready by noon for the jackpot competition. Chili is judged at 2:00. All proceeds of the cookoff benefit our area volunteer fire departments that desperately need our money and support because of all the wild fires in our area. Don’t know how to get to Paradise? Just give Nick a call and he’ll guide you in (817-975-0484). Overnight camping (no hook-ups). We hope you can make it. We’d love to have you!” (Mikie and Nick McGarity)
